I want to capture soul and the heart of an event, of the crowd, and the artists.
Audience euphorias. Artist flow states. Strangers becoming friends. - Joyous moments of epic parties given back to people.
WHY? I want to bring on a revolution and I have a philosophy.
So many smiles, dance moves, so many hugs and pure positive golden retriever energy though shared experience of the artists and the crowd. A community of individuals connected through performance and sound. And yet in photography it is often represented somewhat distant and stereotypical.
I want to change that. I photograph events to make them last past the weekend. The unfiltered joys and in-between moments. I want my work to be a piece of documentation that brings organizers, artists and people a closer together. A statement that investing into art and community is worth it.
